Relic of the Elemental explores these remnants: broken forms that once belonged to a whole, now reimagined as silent witnesses of time. The textured background resembles eroded stone, while each resin fragment gleams like crystallized memory. Gold dust flows between the cracks — symbol of endurance, light, and the invisible connection between what was and what remains. Through this composition, Roger Wanrooij evokes the language of geological time — where destruction becomes transformation, and silence holds the memory of fire.
