In this work, the composition divides into contrasting fields — one luminous and open, the other dense and textured — suggesting a surface that has undergone a shift in balance. What was once compressed begins to expand.
Soft rose and mineral tones drift across the structure like residues left behind after an eruption of energy. Gold surfaces appear worn and weathered, as though exposed to light and air after a long period of containment. The darker textures on the opposing side retain the memory of pressure, grounding the work in the remnants of its former state.
Rather than a sudden break, Release embodies a gradual exhale — the surface settling into a new equilibrium after transformation.
